1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are short strings of text that the websites you visit send to your browser (i.e. your browsing program such as Chrome, Mozilla, Firefox, Safari, Explorer) where they are stored and then transmitted to the same websites on subsequent visits.

When accessing this Website, users may also receive profiling cookies on their browser, installed by Ipack Ima or by third parties so that, for example, while browsing the Website, they are shown personalised advertisements based on the websites or pages of the Website previously visited and in line with their browsing preferences.

Analytical cookies are also used to collect statistical information on users’ browsing patterns (e.g. number of pages visited and accessed, time spent on the website and on adverts, clicks on adverts, etc.); in some cases, these devices are used in a non-anonymous way and are specifically the devices used by Google's DoubleClick Digital Marketing platform.

Furthermore, some pages of this Website may contain elements/spaces dedicated to enabling the use of other websites’ functions, such as Youtube videos https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=it or the so-called social buttons, which are icons that represent some social networking platforms (in particular, Facebook https://www.facebook.com/policies/cookies, Twitter https://twitter.com/en/privacy, etc.) and that allow browsing users to interact with such websites with a “click”. The Website does not share any of the user’s browsing information or data with the websites accessible in this way, but the user’s use of these functions implies the possibility for the user to receive profiling cookies in his/her browser from the owners of these websites (so-called “third parties”).

Pursuant to current legislation (see articles 15 - 22 of the GDPR), the User has the right to ask Ipack Ima to access his/her personal data and to rectify them if they are inaccurate, to delete them or limit their processing if the conditions are met, as well as to obtain the portability of the data provided only if they are subject to automated processing based on consent or contract, and to refuse their use for direct marketing purposes for reasons related to his/her particular situation. The User has the right to revoke the consent given for the processing purposes that require it, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the time of revocation (see the cookie preferences link). The data subject also has the right to lodge a claim before the Data Protection Authority.
