Turbalgor is a business focused on the relationship between preserved quality and respect for the environment, an innovative start-up owned by the Angelantoni Industrie Group, which, thanks to a proprietary patented technology, brings green to the refrigeration sector, today responsible for 20% of world energy consumption. We asked Maurizio Varesi, Sales & Marketing Director what’s new in Turboalgor and its perspectives are for the next months.
Tell us about the technological innovations you are offering on the market
Turboalgor brings a revolutionary innovation of automotive derivation to the industrial refrigeration sector, characterized by the insertion of a turbomachine inside industrial refrigeration systems, reducing the impact of the cold chain on the environment. The turbomachine is integrated together with two exchangers in the classic refrigeration circuit, allowing to obtain up to + 23% of energy saving and up to + 56% of cooling capacity in Low Temperature. Performance achieved whether it is a new plant or an existing plant.
Which are your expectations for the show?
The food sector, in particular the meat one, incurs high costs to keep its products at a controlled temperature, with the aim of preserving their organoleptic properties. We expect therefore to meet various production companies looking for a solution strongly oriented towards important energy savings. It is to these realities that we will show the performance of our technology and the results that our customers, who have already adopted it, are achieving.
What is your vision of the current market and the coming months?
The historical period we are experiencing is very complicated: companies tend to postpone decisions and investments to a moment of greater stability. Luckly, however, several companies have understood the potential of our technology, the investment of which pays for itself in a maximum of 4 years, with important energy savings and undisputed product quality. We therefore hope that with the increase of installations carried out and taking advantage of visibility opportunities such as MEAT-TECH, 2021 will be a year full of opportunities.
