MEAT-TECH scheduled for 2024 with an edition packed with novelties

MEAT-TECH is preparing its new edition, scheduled at Fiera Milano from 28 to 30 May 2024.

MEAT-TECH, together with the new special area PRO-TECH, is set to be the industry event dedicated to technologies and materials for the processing and packaging of protein-based products.

The project therefore addresses the meat, cured meats, poultry and meat derivatives industries and opens up to the fish, hard cheese, ready meals and pet food sectors with a new focus on alternative proteins, plant-based food, high protein food and protein snacks.

A renewed formula with a positioning in line with the most important market trends, where industry professionals and experts in the development of innovative products will be able to meet suppliers of technological solutions for both the «traditional» and «new protein» worlds. The exhibition offer will be particularly interesting thanks to the presence of ingredients, which will propose the elements for new formulations.

An event that anticipates what will be the meat consumption trends of the next few years: demand for quality meat from sustainable, low antibiotic-intensive breeding is indeed expected to rise, as well as an increased focus on plant-based alternatives to meat, such as soy, legume and cereal products, and a boom in high-protein foods, that are ever more common on retail counters to meet an increasing demand from consumers than in the past.

The best processing technologies and materials for packaging and wrapping, end-of-line, labelling and traceability solutions, refrigeration and washing systems, cleaning, hygiene and safety equipment, logistics, handling and storage, automation and robotics, complete the profile of a highly specialised B2B event, a unique appointment of its kind in 2024.

As far as the distribution of target markets, on which the event will focus in terms of visitor recruitment, is concerned these include Europe, Algeria, Morocco, Brazil, Mexico, the Philippines, India and Vietnam.

The new trade fair project, conceived and developed by Ipack Ima, is therefore a must-attend event for global industry professionals looking for new solutions and developments for their business.
