Plant-based technology among the protagonists of the international event scheduled in Milan from 22 to 26 October 2021.
The strong drive for innovation typical of the sector, including cutting-edge technologies, sustainability and new materials is at the heart of the MEAT-TECH project, which has always focused on the most consolidated expressions of the market, driven by new lifestyles and consumption and new trends. A project to which Hi-Food, a Parma-based company that produces and develops plant-based and clean label ingredients, has joined, ready to find points of contact and comparison with the entire world of the food industry. MEAT-TECH takes place in conjunction with TUTTOFOOD and HOST to offer exhibitors and visitors an audience capable of representing the entire supply chain, from ingredients to production and packaging technologies, from finished food products to retail solutions.
In addition to the exhibition offer, MEAT-TECH provides a specialized area, organized in collaboration with Hi-Food. An exhibition space Innovative Food Experience entirely dedicated to technologies for plant-based food production, a space where visitors and exhibitors can taste products, learn about innovative natural ingredients, as well as discover food processing solutions with plant-based formula.
But it doesn't end up here. A cycle of conferences entitled "Innovative Food Talks" is at the center of the proposal made, again in collaboration with Hi-Food, which open a specific focus on the evolution of natural-based technologies: innovative methods of extraction and production of raw materials and of plant origin functional ingredients, developed to meet the needs of sectors ranging from industrial gastronomy, bakery, gluten free to the organic world. Exhibitors and visitors will be able to attend three seminars offered on different days to reach the widest audience. The titles of the meetings, details of which will be available in the coming months, are: "Veggie Dairy", "Italian Style Veggie Patty" and "Veggie Ready Meals".

During the three events, to which a conference room will be dedicated, Hi-Food will illustrate a range of new solutions, developed in response to the productivity and marketing needs of companies in the food sector in a discussion between experts from different fields that focuses on market data and the challenges that producers in the food sector must face. All the seminars, which will take place live during the event, will also be live streaming.
MEAT-TECH aims to create a bridge between the plant-based world and the players in the meat & poultry sector. A dialogue to understand what their technological and labeling needs are, which innovative products and vegetable ingredients can be customized, to create new projects consistent with the constant evolution of the plant-based market.
The convergence between the animal world and the plant world in fact imposes the need for hybrid approaches, where both worlds coexist in a synergistic way, creating new generations of clean label products that are adequate to the expectations of consumers and those of protecting the planet's natural resources.
The Hi-Food space, within the "Innovative Food Experience" area, is available to all MEAT-TECH visitors and exhibitors for an in-depth study on the plant-based solutions offered by the company.
